Hi! I'm Mrs. Pearl and for as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher.
After becoming a mother, I faced the difficult choice of placing my children in daycare so I could return to work. However, I realized I wanted more for them and for myself. With the support of my husband, I made the life-changing decision to leave my job and pursue a career as a preschool teacher. This choice not only allowed my children to be close but also ignited a passion for teaching Preschool that I never knew existed!
I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners. Through play-based and sensory learning, we aim to cultivate individual creativity and ignite young imaginations.
Beyond the classroom, I find joy in gardening and making memories with my family.

Our small classes of just 10 children allows your child to be comfortable and grow valuable friendships with the other preschoolers and teacher. Because conflict-resolution skills are super vital to learn at this age, we help your child work through their problems with other children. Pretty soon they’re using the same strategies and words we’ve taught them, all by themselves!

Your child will receive individualized instruction through our thorough assessments and curriculum. Teaching children is a huge responsibility, and we take that responsibility seriously! Not only are we state licensed and CPR/1st Aid Certified, but our distinct policies and procedures regarding health and safety help to keep your child in a safe, clean environment. We’re constantly cleaning, washing hands, and monitoring all activities to prevent any accidents.

When should I call to register my child?
It’s never too early to call, so call as soon as you even think about registering, because our classes fill up ridiculously fast!
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
We have a 10-month school year (Aug.-May). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. Your child should be able to use the potty independently. If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call. We’re here to help!
What is your teaching philosophy?
We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. We also incorporate Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Are there additional fees during the year?
No. Your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program. Your child won’t pay anything to attend our field trips and activities. Your child will also receive at no extra cost: a preschool shirt to wear on Spirit Day and a graduation art portfolio!
What if my child has food restrictions?
No worries. Several of our students have food intolerances or severe allergies. Due to the short class times we do not schedule a lunch but may have an occasional snack during learning and we do use food in our sensory bins, for this reason we would still need to be made aware of any/all food allergies which we would than have posted in the classroom.
How many students do you have per class?
We have the smallest class sizes in town so your child gets lots of 1-on-1 time. We only have 10 students per class.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No.
Is the tuition refundable if a class is missed?
No. Tuition is paid in advance for the month to secure your child's place in the chosen class. Consequently, we are unable to provide refunds for any classes that are missed. However, we can permit your child to join another class during the same week that the original class was missed (excluding Friday's class) if there is availability in another class.
Is the tuition refundable if a child is withdrawn from the program?
We ask for a two-week advance notice if a child is to be withdrawn from the program. As tuition is paid in advance, we are unable to fill any additional spots for the month that has already been paid. However, we do maintain a waitlist for students who are waiting to enroll. If sufficient notice is provided and we can enroll a new student to occupy the available spot, we can further discuss the unused tuition.

At the end of our tour, we'll ask if you'd like your child to attend our preschool. If so, you'll fill out the registration form and pay the registration fee.
